Every Great Season Begins with a Classic…

Football fans get ready as the Miami-Dade Sports Commission kicks off the 2008 season with the Miami Sports Kick-off Classic presented by NIKE!

3 Games; 6 Teams; Unparalleled football excitement with only the purest and most magnificent level athletic talent the country has to offer.

The tradition of high school football combined with the big game flair of Miami means that the stage will be set for some of the best football in the country. The season starts now…featuring three local South Florida teams facing off against three of the countries nationally ranked best.

Beginning Friday, August 29th, the nationally ranked #8 Booker T. Washington Tornadoes will face off against #12 Arizona’s Hamilton High School Huskies.  Saturday, August 30th will feature two electrifying games beginning with South Florida’s Pahokee Blue Devils suiting up against the Mississippi Olive Branch Quistors. Leading us into a thrilling night game that only Miami can provide pinning the nationally ranked #1 Northwestern Bulls against USA Today’s #20 California Long Beach Polytechnic Jackrabbits.
