NIKE, Inc., based near Beaverton, Oregon, is the world’s leading designer, marketer and distributor of authentic athletic footwear, apparel, equipment and accessories for a wide variety of sports and fitness activities. NIKE is a supporting sponsor and partner of the Miami Sports Kickoff Classic, and is involved in high school athletics across the country and across the globe.

NIKE will be providing two (2) $2,500 scholarships to each participating school in the Miami Sports Kickoff Classic, designated to be awarded to a student-athlete as a way to further educational opportunities to a deserving boy and girl student from each school. This award will be given at the end of the 2008 – 2009 school year, and NIKE would like to be involved in the awarding process.
