Credential Requests
All media representatives covering this event must submit a credential request via the online credential request form. If your outlet is planning to send representatives to cover this event, please submit a credential request so we can make sure to have adequate press materials and appropriate seating available.

Credential requests from Internet sites or magazines, recruiting services and scouts will be considered on an individual basis.

CLICK HERE FOR YOUR CREDENTIAL REQUEST FORM

Media Check-In
To pick up your credential and to enter the venue, you must present both a valid driver’s license and proper company identification (provided by the representative outlet). For correspondents and free-lance photographers, etc., a short validation letter from the outlet’s sports editor, printed on company stationery, will suffice. Being two venues will be used for this event, please indicate your first venue attendance to pick up credential.

Professional Attire & Conduct
All media representatives covering the event are reminded that professional attire (i.e., business casual) and conduct are expected at all times. Cheering for teams will not be allowed in Press Row.

Event Security
All persons entering the venue are subject to search by law enforcement. Early arrival is suggested. Proper credentials must be displayed at all times.

Media Access
Media only has access to athletes and coaches in the mixed zone and press conference. They cannot enter the locker room per international rules. Other media requests outside of the venue should be requested through USA Volleyball media relations (bill.kauffman@usav.org) and will only be granted based on player and coach availability.

Media Work Room and Conditions
Both Pan American Cup venues at the University of Miami and Florida International University will have ample work space for the media on press row and in a press work room. Both venues will have wireless Internet available to the media.

Locker Room Access
Locker rooms are closed to news media representatives at all times, per international volleyball rules.

Live Broadcasts
Any video broadcasts (television or Internet) must be cleared in advance. Typically the press credential allows for the normal 2-3 minute television newscast segments. However, any full-match length (live, delayed or archived) footage must be approved as rights have already been assigned.

Media Hotel Needs
Media in need of accommodations are welcome to book their stay at the Headquarters Hotel. A special rate has been negotiated, please be sure to state the name of the event when booking.

Media E-Mail List
Media can subscribe to the USA Volleyball press release enewsletter list at http://usavolleyball.org/content/index/5158. This subscription is a free service.
